OMNINET will teach Russian companies to manage services effectively

OMNINET, a leading supplier of software solutions in Europe for automating IT services, has invited to Russia a well-known services expert Paul G. Huppertz. The expert will deliver a presentation on innovative methodology of service management at the IX Russian IT Management Forum taking place in Moscow on May 24, 2012.

Paul G. Huppertz is the author of servicialisation, which is one of the world leading concepts of delivering services to customers. Today this trend, that presupposes a transition from CIO (Chief Information Officer) to CSO (Chief Services Officer), is successfully used in such world-famous companies, as Adidas and Novartis. OMNINET experts are certain that this methodology can also boost business efficiency in many Russian companies. This concept can be fully realized with the help of OMNITRACKER platform that meets the challenge of IT services management.

“IT Management Forum allows to gather in one platform both Russian and foreign experts in the industry, and share experience. In my view, it is very important, considering the increasing topicality of service approach for IT companies”, remarked Michael Dobner, CEO of OMNINET Russia and CIS. “In this context it will be useful to discuss such key issue, as relevance and competitiveness of prices on delivered services. Nowadays many companies face difficulties in this regard, underlining the timely arrival of servicialisation into the Russian market. Applying this concept allows to optimize the use of existing resources in companies and to decrease the cost of their services”.

Servicialisation is universal and can be used in the companies working in any industry, and rendering any services. OMNINET specialists think that the new approach to business will be used by service providers, as it allows to arrange financial reporting with best expediency, and consequently, to make business processes more effective to sustain severe competition, both in the domestic, and the world market. It is worth mentioning that using the new servicialisation methodology in most cases do not require additional investment in ICT systems on the part of the companies, as long as all the major investments have been already in place, but they are used not always effectively.

The presentation delivered by Paul G. Huppertz under the title “Servicialisation – a Leading Concept of Service Provision” will open the plenary session of the IX Russian IT Management Forum, taking place on May 24, 2012 in the Radisson-Slavyanskaya hotel of Moscow. The expert will also reveal to the participants of the first session the idea behind the transition from CIO to CSO. This year the subject of the Forum reflects the results of IT services evolution for the last 10-15 years. A special emphasis is placed on practical aspects of managing IT departments. In this Forum, OMNINET organizes the presentation of services expert Paul G. Huppertz (from 10:35 to 11:00, and from 16:05 to 16:25), and also the project presentation of CJSC Peter-Service about business process optimization based on OMNITRACKER platform (from 17:05 to 17:20). Alexander Starodubtsev, Ph.D in Economics, Head of Automation Section at Information and Technology Department of CJSC Peter-Service will share his

experience of implementing the new system for effective business processes automation. The expert will tell about the problems his company faced, reveal the identified peculiarities of automating certain technology processes, and report the obtained results.
