EC REGIONAL SYSTEMS Ltd. Becomes a Partner of OMNINET in the Southern Federal District


EC REGIONAL SYSTEMS Ltd. (ECRS) entered into a partnership with OMNINET (developer of the OMNITRACKER platform) and became a Certified OMNITRACKER Project Partner

The Engineering Center REGIONAL SYSTEMS Company Limited, which develops the integrated solutions for information security and engineering support for site security, uses the OMNITRACKER platform by OMNINET under the partner agreement. The platform is used to provide technical support for information systems that are developed by the company (incident management), as well as to manage knowledge, services, tasks, and assets. In addition, OMNITRACKER will be used to automate the document flow, customer relationship management, and project management.

OMNITRACKER IT Service Management Center facilitates automation of incident management, and customers of EC REGIONAL SYSTEMS Ltd. do not have to look for a professional to address each problem; technical support is provided from the centralized Help Desk. Every service ticket that is stored in the centralized system contains all relevant background information, simplifying the task for technicians. This new approach has significantly accelerated the recovery process for sites and customers can now be confident that any system downtime will be minimal.

The decision was made because of the increased share of support services in the company's portfolio. The ITIL methodology became the basis for the technical support, and we were looking for a software tool to automate the corresponding processes. The company also plans to use the IT platform to automate processes that are not related to IT: for example, document flow, customer relationship management, and project management. In order to integrate OMNITRACKER fully into the existing infrastructure of the engineering center, the IT platform will be connected to the enterprise systems (Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft Project) and the PABX.

Under the partner agreement EC REGIONAL SYSTEMS Ltd. may include the OMNITRACKER software into its solutions, as well as provide consultations, commissioning, and user training services related to OMNITRACKER.
